On February 27, 2026, Nimba Mining Company launched a significant bauxite exploration program with an investment exceeding $2 million. The initiative, aimed at reinforcing its mining resources, will take place over six months across plateaus P1, P2, P3, P24, and P26.

It consists of two phases: the first phase includes 20,000 meters of Grade Control drilling on P26 and P24, and the second phase involves 8,500 meters of Auger Drilling on P1, P2, and P3. Data from this exploration will be incorporated into the company’s three-year mining plan to gradually enhance production.
