Nimy Resources has shipped its first gallium ore from the Block 3 project to US partner M2i Global for analysis to determine optimal processing pathways for US defence and national security applications. The ore will also be evaluated by selected academic institutions and a defence industrial base company to establish refining processes.

Nimy aims to create a critical mineral reserve to enhance Western gallium supply chain security amid global shortages. The Block 3 project contains 2,700 tons of gallium, positioning it as a significant supplier to Western markets seeking non-Chinese sources. The company's metallurgical focus is on determining processing routes for commercial production, supporting global semiconductor and defence sector demands.
