Nissan, in collaboration with Little Electric Energy, has launched the Green Charge Flex ultra-fast EV charging solution at the Port of Vigo, Spain. The system repurposes 12 Nissan LEAF 30kWh battery packs into a 300kWh Energy Storage System, enabling up to 240kW DC and 22kW AC charging across four chargers.

Co-funded by the European Union and Spain's IDAE, the system will operate for at least one year. This initiative aims to alleviate grid pressure and promote sustainable electric mobility through innovative battery reuse.
