Nitin Gadkari revealed plans for infrastructure projects totaling Rs 1 lakh crore in Solapur district, set for completion by 2029. Key projects include the four-laning of the Ahmednagar-Karmala-Solapur highway, a new flyover, and the Solapur Ring Road.
Gadkari noted the economic impact of the Surat-Chennai Greenfield Corridor, which would reduce travel distances significantly, and announced plans for a Mumbai-Bengaluru Greenfield Expressway. He also highlighted a model village initiative to enhance rural livelihoods, addressing the agrarian crisis and proposing energy production through ethanol and hydrogen. Gadkari urged political leaders to prioritize public welfare over political agendas.
