No Fatalities Reported in Upper Cisokan Hydropower Project Landslide
The West Bandung Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency confirms no fatalities from a landslide at the Upper Cisokan Hydropower Plant. Authorities are set to inspect the site to assess conditions and mitigate future risks.

The West Bandung Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) reported no fatalities following a landslide at the Upper Cisokan Hydropower Plant. The landslide occurred around 2 a.m. and is believed to have been triggered by heavy rainfall.
BPBD plans to conduct a site inspection, involving relevant parties, to evaluate the impact and ensure safety measures are in place. The affected area is near Pasir Datar Hill, above two water tunnels linked to the hydropower project, located approximately 50-60 kilometers from Padalarang. The incident highlights the ongoing risks associated with extreme weather in hydropower project areas.
