Nokia Reorganizes Business Segments Amid Mixed Sales Performance in India for 2025

On November 19, 2025, Nokia announced a reorganization into two primary operating segments effective January 1, 2026, to better meet customer needs and enhance innovation amid rising demand for advanced connectivity. The Network Infrastructure segment, led by David Heard, includes Optical Networks, IP Networks, and Fixed Networks, focusing on AI and data center growth.

The Mobile Infrastructure segment, led by Justin Hotard, combines Core Networks and Radio Networks to lead in AI-native networks and 6G. Nokia reported a 15% decline in net sales in India to 393 million euros in Q4 2025, down from 463 million euros in Q4 2024, while full-year sales increased by 12% to 1.53 billion euros.

The company remains focused on 5G and is investing in Open Radio Access Network technologies. Competitor Ericsson reported a 6% rise in sales in the same region.
