As electricity demand from data centers rises, this collaboration addresses the need for reliable, low-emission energy sources. The technology allows storage exceeding 100 hours using abundant materials, positioning it as a potential game-changer in energy reliability. Commercial deployment may start in 2027, enhancing the infrastructure for the AI economy.
