Nordec to Build Processing Plant Structure for Viscaria Mine in Kiruna, Sweden

Nordec has been selected by Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria to construct the processing plant structure for the Viscaria mine in Kiruna, Sweden. Nordec's responsibilities include groundworks, foundations, and the structural steel and concrete frame, with the plant covering about 14,000 m².

The processing plant is intended to support the restart of copper mining operations in the area. Construction is set to begin in spring 2026, with an expected completion in 2027.
