Nordic Alpha Partners Faces Three Business Collapses Amid Successful Exits
Nordic Alpha Partners has seen three portfolio companies collapse in the past year, including Agrointelli, Green Hydrogen Systems, and Re-Match. Despite these failures, the firm has successfully exited investments such as Wiferion to Tesla and Spirii to Edenred. Agrointelli is currently undergoing bankruptcy proceedings while seeking a new owner. Green Hydrogen Systems reported significant losses of over 400 million DKK in 2023. Nordic Alpha Partners aims to support green tech companies through intensive scaling efforts, having raised nearly 1 billion DKK for its first fund in 2017 and about 2 billion DKK for its second fund in 2024.

Agrointelli, a robotics firm, is currently in bankruptcy proceedings, citing liquidity issues, while Green Hydrogen Systems faced losses exceeding 400 million DKK in 2023 and filed for bankruptcy in summer 2025.
Re-Match, which had previously been sold to Verdane, also recorded substantial financial losses. Despite these setbacks, Nordic Alpha Partners successfully exited investments in Wiferion, sold to Tesla for approximately 600 million DKK, and Spirii, acquired by Edenred for an unspecified amount. The firm aims to support green tech companies through hands-on investment strategies, having raised nearly 1 billion DKK for its first fund and around 2 billion DKK for its second fund.
