Norsemont Mining Engages DAES Consultores for Environmental Impact Declaration by December 2026 in Chile
Norsemont Mining Inc. has engaged DAES Consultores to complete an Environmental Impact Declaration (EID) for its Choquelimpie project in northern Chile by December 2026. The EID aims to facilitate regulatory approvals for future development. Initial biological characterizations are underway, with additional assessments planned from March to November 2026, including cultural heritage, air quality, traffic impact, and hydrological studies.

Norsemont Mining Inc. has hired DAES Consultores to produce an Environmental Impact Declaration (EID) for its Choquelimpie gold-silver-copper project in northern Chile, targeted for completion by December 2026. This EID will help navigate regulatory processes for project advancement.
Currently, biologists are conducting biological characterizations, and three more site visits are scheduled for 2026. Between March and November, the company will perform various assessments, including cultural heritage characterization, air quality modeling, traffic impact studies, and hydrological studies, among others.
