North American Palladium to Repair Primary Crusher, Operations Continue with Backup Crusher
North American Palladium Ltd will take up to eight weeks to repair its primary crusher after detecting two vertical cracks. An older crusher will be reactivated to maintain mine operations during this period.

North American Palladium Ltd, Canada's only primary producer of platinum group metals, will begin repairs on its primary crusher that experienced a breakdown last week. The repair work, which involves fixing two vertical cracks found during an inspection, is expected to take between six and eight weeks.
To ensure continued operation of the mine, an older crusher will be reactivated while the repairs are conducted. The backup crusher is capable of processing between 12,000 and 14,000 tonnes of material per day.
