Northcliff Resources received US$15 million in funding for its Sisson project in New Brunswick as part of US and Canadian critical minerals initiatives. This funding will advance pre-construction activities, including an update to the 2013 feasibility study and basic engineering work, led by Ausenco Engineering Canada ULC, expected to complete by mid-2026.
The project has obtained environmental approvals and initiated a site investigation program set to end in February 2026. Discussions on project financing and offtake arrangements are ongoing, with further fieldwork planned for late spring 2026. The project aims to strengthen Canada's critical minerals supply chain and foster economic growth in Atlantic Canada.
