Northern Cape Highlights Investment Opportunities Ahead of Jobs Conference
The Northern Cape Provincial Government, led by Premier Dr Zamani Saul and MEC Venus Lorato Blennies-Magage, showcased investment opportunities in a workshop in Sandton. Key sectors include green energy, mining, agriculture, industrialization, infrastructure, and tourism. The province is a major player in manganese, diamonds, and renewable energy, hosting 60% of South Africa's independent power producers. The R122.9-billion Boegoebaai Port Development project aims to enhance transport and energy infrastructure. The Northern Cape is positioned as a strategic hub for economic shifts linked to the global energy transition.
