Northstar Gold Secures $4 Million Funding for Novamera's Surgical Mining at Cam Copper Project
Northstar Gold Corp. has secured up to $4 million in co-investment funding from DIGITAL to advance the Cam Copper Surgical Mining Project, utilizing Novamera Inc.'s innovative technology for sustainable mineral extraction. The funding will cover approximately 30% of the project's total expenses of $11 million, with the first reimbursement expected by mid-April 2026. Located near Kirkland Lake, Ontario, the project aims to implement precision mining to minimize waste and environmental impact.

Northstar Gold Corp. has secured approval for up to $4 million in co-investment funding from DIGITAL, Canada's Global Innovation Cluster, to advance the Cam Copper Surgical Mining Project. This project, led by Novamera Inc., aims to utilize Novamera's Surgical Mining technology for sustainable extraction of critical minerals.
Northstar expects to receive approximately $1.8 million in net funding, covering about 30% of the Project's total expenses of $11 million, with the first reimbursement of around $300,000 anticipated by mid-April 2026. The Cam Copper Project, located near Kirkland Lake, Ontario, will implement a precision mining approach to reduce waste and environmental impact. Northstar also granted 11.25 million stock options to its team and is advancing its exploration projects in northern Ontario.
