Nostromo Energy to Deploy IceBrick Systems at Atlanta Airport
Nostromo Energy will install three IceBrick thermal energy storage systems at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport with a total capacity of 2,200 Ton-refrigeration-hours. The installation aims to enhance cooling efficiency and reduce operational costs, with project completion targeted for 2026.

Nostromo Energy, Inc. has been selected to install three IceBrick thermal energy storage systems at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. These systems will provide a total capacity of 2,200 Ton-refrigeration-hours and are designed to minimize peak cooling loads, thereby lowering operating costs and improving system reliability.
The deployment is expected to be finished within this calendar year. By leveraging IceBrick technology, the airport can enhance its cooling capacity and provide backup during equipment failures. This project highlights the growing trend of utilizing thermal energy storage solutions in large-scale facilities to improve energy efficiency and resilience.
