NRB Bearings to Diversify into Industrial and Aerospace Sectors; Aims for INR25 Billion Revenue by 2031
NRB Bearings Limited plans to diversify from its core automotive sector into industrial bearings, aerospace, and other segments, targeting INR25 billion in revenue by 2031. The company projects that industrial bearings will increase to 11-12% of revenue. NRB has approved INR2.7 billion for phased capital expenditure and has formed a joint venture with Unitec for manufacturing in Hyderabad, alongside acquiring Mahant Toolroom for aerospace components. Q3 FY26 revenue rose 18% to INR3.28 billion, with EBITDA at INR640 million.

NRB Bearings Limited is diversifying into industrial bearings, aerospace, robotics, and construction equipment, aiming for INR25 billion revenue by 2031 while maintaining EBITDA margins of 18-20%. Industrial bearings currently contribute 8-10% of revenue, projected to rise to 11-12%.
The company has approved INR2.7 billion for capital expenditure over 2-2.5 years, tailored to customer demand. NRB formed a joint venture with Unitec for cylindrical roller bearings in Hyderabad, investing INR1.1 billion, with production expected in 15-18 months.
An acquisition of Mahant Toolroom adds aerospace capabilities with an order book over INR250 million. For Q3 FY26, NRB reported an 18% revenue increase to INR3.28 billion and a 26% rise in EBITDA to INR640 million.
