NRZCPF Launches Rooftop Solar PV Project in Zimbabwe for Sustainable Development
The National Railways of Zimbabwe Contributory Pension Fund (NRZCPF) has launched a rooftop solar photovoltaic project aimed at converting its buildings into renewable energy sources. This initiative, developed under the Gold Standard for the Global Goals (GS4GG), seeks to reduce reliance on the national grid, cut operational costs, and generate carbon credits while promoting clean energy and job creation. A Local Stakeholder Consultation in March will engage communities and stakeholders to discuss the project's impacts and gather feedback.
