The National Railways of Zimbabwe Contributory Pension Fund (NRZCPF) has initiated a rooftop solar photovoltaic project to convert its buildings into renewable energy sources, reducing reliance on the national grid. Developed under GS4GG, this project aims to lower operational costs, generate carbon credits, and support climate goals.

A Local Stakeholder Consultation is planned for March in Harare to engage local communities and stakeholders on the project's impacts. NRZCPF seeks to enhance pension outcomes while fostering job creation and promoting clean energy through this initiative, representing a significant step in sustainable investment in Zimbabwe.
