Nscale, a U.K.-based AI infrastructure hyperscaler, announced $2 billion in Series C funding, led by Aker ASA and 8090 Industries, valuing the company at $14.6 billion. This funding will support the global development of AI infrastructure, including GPU compute and data services, across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Nscale has integrated the Aker Nscale joint venture into its operations and welcomed three new Board members: Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Decker, and Nick Clegg. The company seeks to expand its engineering teams and infrastructure footprint to meet surging demand for AI capabilities.
