Nscale Secures $790 Million Financing for AI Data Center Expansion in Norway
Nscale has obtained $790 million in financing to expand its AI data center in Narvik, Norway, which is the largest AI infrastructure investment in the country. This funding is critical for increasing the center's capacity by 115MW, in response to the growing demand for AI services.
Nscale has secured $790 million in financing from ABN AMRO, DNB, Eksfin, Nordea, and SEB for the Narvik AI data center in Norway. This financing includes an additional $790 million uncommitted accordion feature for further expansion, following Nscale's $2 billion Series C funding in March 2026 and a $1.4 billion Delayed Draw Term Loan in February 2026.
The center is planned to have a total capacity of 230MW, including 30,000 Nvidia Rubin GPUs, and is strategically important for Nscale's growth. The company is also developing a 250MW data center in Korgen and has operational sites in Glomfjord. The expansion supports Nscale's positioning as a leader in global AI infrastructure.
