NUtec Digital Ink Invests in Tswalu for Carbon Credits and Biodiversity Restoration
NUtec Digital Ink has purchased 4,000 carbon credits from Tswalu, South Africa's largest private game reserve, to support long-term ecological restoration and achieve carbon neutrality. The investment aids in rehabilitating land, restoring grasslands, and reintroducing native wildlife, enhancing carbon sequestration and biodiversity protection. Tswalu's efforts include the protection of endangered species like the African wild dog and near-threatened black rhinos, contributing to measurable climate benefits and sustainable conservation.

NUtec Digital Ink invested in 4,000 carbon credits from Tswalu, South Africa's largest private game reserve, to support its carbon neutrality goals and long-term ecological restoration in the southern Kalahari. The investment aids nearly three decades of restoration efforts by rehabilitating land previously used for livestock, restoring grasslands, and reintroducing native wildlife.
Tswalu's initiatives protect endangered and vulnerable species such as the African wild dog, Kalahari lion, and cheetah, while enhancing carbon sequestration through healthier ecosystems. In 2019, Tswalu offset its operational emissions with 6,179 carbon credits, supporting nature-based climate solutions.
