Nvidia and Musk Companies Deepen Ties Amid Major AI Compute Initiatives
Nvidia's partnership with Tesla and xAI is set to expand, reflecting cumulative investments estimated at $10 billion by 2025. This collaboration, rooted in Nvidia's hardware dependency for autonomous driving and AI applications, highlights the growing integration of AI technologies across Musk's ventures.

Nvidia is expected to provide substantial GPU infrastructure for Tesla's Full Self-Driving software and xAI's Colossus 2 data center in Memphis, targeting over half a million GPUs. Cumulatively, Tesla's spending on Nvidia hardware is projected to reach around $10 billion by the end of 2025.
Additionally, a joint data center project in Saudi Arabia, announced in March 2026, will initiate with a 50-megawatt deployment, further solidifying this partnership. SpaceX's collaboration includes delivering Nvidia GPUs to commercial clients and operating Nvidia-specific computing platforms for orbital environments, generating significant revenue. The evolving relationship indicates an acceleration in AI compute capacity, potentially leading to rapid advancements in Musk's AI-related projects.
