Nvidia Invests $2B in CoreWeave to Accelerate AI Data Center Development

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Nvidia has invested $2 billion in CoreWeave to enhance AI data center capabilities, purchasing Class A shares at $87.20 each. The companies aim to build over 5 gigawatts of AI factories by 2030 to meet rising global demand for AI computing.

CoreWeave will integrate Nvidia's computing platforms, including the Rubin architecture and BlueField storage systems, into its operations. This partnership follows a $6.3 billion cloud computing deal signed in September.

Nvidia will assist in securing land and resources for CoreWeave's expansion. CoreWeave reported $18.81 billion in debt obligations and generated $1.36 billion in revenue in Q3 2025. The collaboration reflects the industry's shift towards large-scale AI production, with CoreWeave serving major customers like OpenAI and Microsoft.
