Nvidia Reports Record Earnings Amid AI Demand Surge
Nvidia has reported record revenue of $22.1 billion for Q4 2024, reflecting a 265% year-over-year increase. The company is positioned to benefit from ongoing global demand for AI technologies, with a projected revenue of $24 billion for Q1 fiscal 2025, driven by the release of its new H200 chips.

Nvidia's fourth-quarter earnings for fiscal 2024 revealed a record quarterly revenue of $22.1 billion, a 265% increase from the prior year, and a net income of $12.29 billion, up 769%. The full-year revenue reached $60.9 billion, marking a 126% growth over fiscal 2023, with net income at $29.76 billion, a 581% increase.
The data center segment, featuring H100 chips, generated $18.4 billion, up 409% year-over-year. Nvidia's market cap has reached $1.94 trillion. Analysts project $24 billion in revenue for Q1 fiscal 2025, with strong demand anticipated for the upcoming H200 chips. Geopolitical tensions, particularly between the U.S. and China, may impact supply chain dynamics, potentially limiting growth for competitors while benefiting Nvidia's pricing power.
