Nvidia's GB300 Platform Projected to Dominate AI Server Shipments in 2025
Nvidia Corp's GB300 platform is expected to represent 70-80% of global AI server rack shipments in 2025, according to TrendForce Corp. Mass production of servers using GB300 chips started last quarter, making them the primary models for Taiwanese manufacturers this year.
The adoption of Nvidia's next-generation Vera Rubin 200 platform is anticipated to increase after Q3 2025. Shipments of GPU-based systems, including GB300 and Advanced Micro Devices Inc's MI400, are expected to rise as cloud service providers like Google, Amazon Web Services, and Meta expand their AI infrastructure.
The demand for liquid cooling solutions is also growing due to high power consumption in Nvidia-based AI servers and the scaling of data centers. Taiwanese companies such as Auras Technology and Asia Vital Components are well-positioned to benefit from this trend, along with power supply firms like Delta Electronics and Lite-On Technology.
