Nyxium Launches AI Platform to Expedite Energy Infrastructure Permitting

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTUREENERGY STORAGE

Nyxium has introduced an AI-driven platform to accelerate the permitting of energy infrastructure projects, including nuclear and renewables. This London-based startup claims its system can reduce development timelines by up to 75%, compressing typical processes of 12 to 24 months into months.

The platform employs AI to analyze geospatial constraints, regulatory requirements, and community considerations to identify permitting risks early. Nyxium has signed a $235,000 contract with the Kentucky Nuclear Economic Development Authority for site screening and secured £2.4 million in pre-seed funding to expand its operations. Its target markets include nuclear, solar, wind, energy storage, and data centers.
