Oboya Horticulture's APV Enhances Harvest Logistics for Flores El Trigal and Flores Silvestres
Oboya Horticulture has received investments from Flores El Trigal and Flores Silvestres to implement its Automated Pulling Vehicle (APV), which automates crop transportation and enhances harvest logistics. The APV, capable of carrying loads between 500 kg and 3,000 kg, is expected to improve operational efficiency and reduce labor costs, with a projected return on investment of 10% within two years. This initiative aims to streamline post-harvest workflows and improve working conditions for field crews.

Oboya Horticulture has secured investments from Flores El Trigal and Flores Silvestres in its Automated Pulling Vehicle (APV) to enhance harvest logistics and productivity. The APV automates crop transportation from fields to collection points, replacing manual labor and streamlining post-harvest workflows.
Both companies plan to integrate the APV daily, improving operational performance and reducing the need for large field crews. The APV supports loads from 500 kg to 3,000 kg and features lithium battery power and a dual-motor drive system for energy efficiency.
Projections indicate a return on investment of 10% within two years, attributed to lower labor costs and faster harvest cycles. This investment aims to improve working conditions while boosting productivity.
