Octava Reports Polymetallic Discoveries at Federation Project in Tasmania
Octava Minerals' drilling at the Federation project reveals significant polymetallic intersections, including antimony and zinc lodes. This marks the first drilling in nearly 50 years and highlights the project's strategic location near existing mining infrastructure.

Octava Minerals (ASX:OCT) has reported significant polymetallic intersections from its initial drilling program at the Federation project, covering approximately 121 km². Results include a 6m intersection with 0.79% copper and a 2m intersection with 1.85% antimony, among other valuable metals.
The drilling program, initiated in December 2025, included eight holes, with seven at Sweeney's and one at Anomaly 1. Historical drilling data shows strong prior results from the 1970s, indicating a promising mineralisation potential.
Future exploration will focus on deep sulphide veins and the newly identified antimony-zinc lode, with opportunities to explore a 750m zone between Sweeney's and Anomaly 1. This ongoing exploration could significantly enhance the project's resource profile.
