Oman Governors Announce Food Security and Renewable Energy Investments at Together Forward Forum
At the Together Forward Forum in Muscat on February 8-9, governors discussed investment projects in food security, renewable energy, and logistics. The ACME green hydrogen project in Duqm is 50% complete. Buraimi's investments in food security projects have reached RO62mn. North Batinah plans to establish a 6mn sqm agricultural city in Saham, coordinated with relevant ministries. South Batinah's Barka Port project is underway, and Musannah Port is seeking investment. North Sharqiyah has expanded cultivation land to 11,000 acres and issued 596 agricultural project licenses.

South Batinah reported that the Barka Port project is under construction, while a tender is out for Musannah Port. North Sharqiyah expanded its cultivation land to 11,000 acres and issued 596 licenses for high-quality agriculture.
