Omnia and ZPE Ceará Announce $200 Billion Data Center Project in Pecém, Brazil
Omnia and ZPE Ceará are set to construct a $200 billion Data Center in Pecém, Brazil, with an initial R$ 12 billion investment in infrastructure. The facility will utilize 1 GW of renewable energy, surpassing the total consumption of all Brazilian Data Centers, and aims to foster a technological ecosystem centered on Green Digital Technology. The project is expected to generate significant local employment and support the economy, with plans to achieve an operational capacity of 984 MW by 2028.

Omnia and ZPE Ceará are leading the construction of a $200 billion Data Center in Pecém, Brazil. This project will begin with an investment of R$ 200 billion, with R$ 12 billion allocated to infrastructure.
The Data Center will consume 1 GW of renewable energy from wind and solar sources, exceeding the current total consumption of all Brazilian Data Centers. The project aims to attract hyperscale data center companies and create a technological ecosystem focused on Green Digital Technology.
Omnia, backed by Pátria Investimentos, plans to invest R$ 4 billion in local products and services during the first phase, generating jobs and supporting local economies. The Data Center will feature a high-capacity underwater fiber connection and aims to achieve operational capacity of 984 MW by 2028. It will utilize advanced cooling technology, minimizing water usage to only 3 cubic meters per day.
