Ooredoo's Syntys Acquires Q Data QFZ to Enhance Qatar's Data Center Capacity

Ooredoo Group's data center platform Syntys acquired Q Data QFZ LLC, adding 5MW of live capacity and 7.5MW under development. This acquisition brings Syntys' total IT capacity in Qatar to 26MW. The two facilities are Tier III-certified and located in Qatar Free Zones.
The deal supports Qatar's digital economy and aims for over 120MW of capacity across MENA by 2030. The acquisition strengthens Syntys' position as a carrier-neutral provider for global cloud and AI platforms.
