Open Access Data Centres (OADC) is acquiring NTT's data center portfolio in South Africa, following approval from the Competition Commission of South Africa (CCSA). The facilities included in the acquisition are located in Bloemfontein, Cape Town, East London, Bryanston, Parklands in Johannesburg, Gqeberha, and Umhlanga.

The deal encompasses associated infrastructure, equipment, supplier contracts, and lease agreements at these sites, as well as the property for the Parklands data center. The CCSA concluded that the transaction is unlikely to significantly impact competition in the market. NTT, OADC, and OADC's owner WIOCC have not yet made public announcements regarding the deal.
