Open House Scheduled for Proposed 426-Acre Data Center Complex in Hanover County
An open house on February 4 will present plans for a 426-acre data center complex in Hanover County, near the Henrico line. Developer Tract is seeking community feedback on the Mountain Road Technology Park, which includes data center buildings, development areas, and natural buffer zones. Residents have expressed concerns regarding noise from a nearby substation and the project's alignment with Hanover’s Comprehensive Plan. A public hearing by the Hanover County Planning Commission is set for February 19.

An open house on February 4 will provide details about a proposed 426-acre data center complex in Hanover County, near the Henrico line. Developer Tract will present plans for the Mountain Road Technology Park at Elmont Elementary School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Nearly one-third of the site will consist of data center buildings, with 28% for development areas and 40% as buffer zones. Local residents have raised concerns about noise from a nearby substation and the project’s fit with the county’s Comprehensive Plan. A public hearing by the Hanover County Planning Commission is scheduled for February 19.
