Orange Tunisie Advances Digital Sovereignty with 2025 Strategic Initiatives
Orange Tunisie is set to enhance its role in Tunisia's digital transformation by 2025, focusing on digital sovereignty, inclusion, and ecological transition. Key initiatives include the integration of financial services into the Max it app, the establishment of a TIER III Data Center, and a commitment to renewable energy through solarizing sites. The company also aims to improve youth employability and bolster digital connectivity with the MEDUSA cable linking Tunisia to 12 Mediterranean countries.

In 2025, Orange Tunisie expands its role beyond telecommunications to become a key player in the country's digital transformation. Its CSR strategy, focused on digital sovereignty, inclusion, and ecological transition, supports nationwide priorities.
Major initiatives include the integration of Flouci into the Max it app for financial inclusion, the launch of a TIER III Data Center in Kalaa Kebira enhancing cloud services, and certification ISO 14001 for environmental management. The company aims for 15% renewable energy through solarizing nearly 1,000 sites and has collected 58 tons of waste through a partnership with Tounes Clean-Up.
The Challenge PFE program, with over 2,500 applications, enhances youth employability. The arrival of the 24 Tbps MEDUSA cable bolsters Tunisia's digital sovereignty, connecting it with 12 Mediterranean countries. Other initiatives focus on education, healthcare access, and sustainable employment in the renewable energy sector.
