Orta and Archroma Introduce Sustainable Denim Collection Using Wool Waste Dyes
Archroma and Orta Anadolu have partnered to launch a denim collection utilizing circular dye technology derived from wool waste. This initiative promotes sustainable textile practices within the premium denim sector, aiming to drive the circular economy forward.

Archroma and Orta Anadolu are set to unveil a new denim collection at Kingpins Amsterdam on April 15-16, 2026, which incorporates FiberColors® dyes made from at least 50% pre-consumer wool waste. This innovative dyeing process not only replaces petroleum-based materials but also ensures comparable performance and environmental benefits to traditional dyes.
ORTA has selected three shades for its inaugural collection following successful trials in late 2025. The partnership illustrates a significant industry shift towards circular economy practices, leveraging waste materials to create high-value products while aligning with sustainable textile goals. Such advancements could influence broader adoption of circular dye technologies across the denim market.
