Oshawa's Christine Crescent Project to Introduce 160 Mixed-Income Homes
A redevelopment in Oshawa will provide 160 mixed-income rental homes, enhancing local housing options. The project emphasizes sustainability with low-embodied carbon materials and geothermal heating.

The Christine Crescent redevelopment in Oshawa, Ontario will feature 160 mixed-income rental homes across two buildings, measuring 160,000 square feet. The project replaces 12 semi-detached homes with four and six-storey structures, including one- to four-bedroom units designed on a six-metre modular grid.
Amenities will include lounges, fitness facilities, and a landscaped courtyard with outdoor gym and park access. The buildings utilize low-embodied-carbon wood structures and will implement a geothermal heat pump system, enhancing energy efficiency. This project aims to improve the local housing landscape while emphasizing sustainability.
