Oversonic Robotics Unveils 'RoBee' Humanoid Robot at Intel Pavilion in Las Vegas

At the Las Vegas fair, the humanoid robot 'RoBee' from Italian startup Oversonic Robotics was showcased at Intel's pavilion. Oversonic, based in Carate Brianza and funded by Cysero, which is backed by Avm and Kilometro Rosso, has received investments from families including Bombassei, Radici, Persico, and Fassi.

The company offers two versions of 'RoBee': the R series for repetitive and hazardous tasks in manufacturing, enhancing safety, and the M series aimed at assisting medical professionals in operating rooms. Additionally, Nvidia announced 'Alpamayo', an open-source suite of models and simulators for autonomous driving, which is gaining traction in the U.S. Nvidia introduced six new HPC chips, notably the Vera processors and Rubin graphics, which are up to five times more powerful than previous models, forming the 'Vera Rubin' architecture for next-generation data centers.
