OWC, KLEM, and OEG Establish BoP Alliance for Korean Offshore Wind
The partnership between OWC, KLEM, and OEG aims to enhance BoP O&M services for offshore wind projects in South Korea. This collaboration addresses the increasing demand for efficient operational performance and asset reliability as the country targets 25 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2035.

OWC, KLEM, and OEG have formed a strategic alliance to deliver integrated Balance of Plant (BoP) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for offshore wind farms in South Korea. KLEM will serve as the primary contractor, while OWC will offer technical assurance and asset management, and OEG will focus on marine and subsea operations.
The collaboration aims to support offshore wind developers by providing comprehensive solutions for inspection and lifecycle support, thereby enhancing asset reliability and performance. This partnership is poised to address the challenges faced in the offshore environment, ensuring efficient operations and integrity management throughout the asset lifecycle, crucial for meeting South Korea's ambitious wind energy goals.
