Pace Digitek has been awarded a contract valued at ₹4.95 crore for engineering, procurement, and construction of a battery energy storage system (BESS) at NTPC's Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Station. The scope includes supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment, alongside civil and structural works, with a 15-month timeline for execution and an 11-year maintenance agreement.
This order is independent of related-party transactions. Additionally, Pace Digitek's subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Ltd, secured orders totaling ₹1,587.10 million from Reliance Industries and $1.35 million from Yaqin Chem for battery systems. The contract’s success could enhance Pace Digitek's market position amid a volatile stock performance, reflecting broader trends in energy storage investments.
