PAIH Awards Ascend Elements' Project Apex 2 as Manufacturing Investment of the Year in Poland
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) has recognized Ascend Elements' Project Apex 2 as its Manufacturing Investment of the Year. This project aims to develop the EU's first fully integrated battery materials refining center, converting spent lithium-ion batteries into low-carbon cathode materials using Hydro-to-Cathode® technology. The Republic of Poland has allocated USD 320 million (approximately 1.22 billion PLN) for this initiative.

Ascend Elements' Project Apex 2 has been awarded Manufacturing Investment of the Year by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). The project focuses on establishing the first fully integrated battery materials refining center in the EU.
It will utilize Hydro-to-Cathode® technology to recycle spent lithium-ion batteries into new, low-carbon cathode materials. The Polish government has committed USD 320 million (around 1.22 billion PLN) to support this initiative.
