Pakistan and KfW signed an €18 million grant agreement to enhance renewable energy and hydropower projects in northern Pakistan. The agreement was executed by Economic Affairs Division Secretary Muhammad Humair Karim and KfW Country Director Sebastian Jacobi.
The grant will facilitate the development of clean electricity projects utilizing local water resources, aiming to improve livelihoods and support socio-economic development. The initiative seeks to address the region's energy needs through sustainable solutions, fostering job creation and tourism.
