Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Kashmir and Announces Development Initiatives in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan's political, diplomatic, and moral support for the Kashmir cause and announced a special development package for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). This package includes the establishment of Danish Schools and a Danish University in Muzaffarabad, scholarships, increased stipends for Kashmiri migrants, and infrastructure projects. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for India's compliance with UN resolutions regarding Kashmir and expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people's struggle for self-determination.

On Kashmir Solidarity Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for the Kashmir cause and announced a comprehensive development package for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). Key initiatives include the establishment of Danish Schools and a Danish University in Muzaffarabad, enhancement of stipends for Kashmiri migrants, merit-based laptop distribution, and scholarships under the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund.
The package also involves water supply schemes, hydropower projects, and increased funding for universities. Sharif stressed that durable peace in South Asia is contingent upon India's adherence to UN Security Council resolutions. He paid tribute to Kashmiri martyrs and expressed continued commitment to advocating for their rights.
