Pangea Propulsion, located in Barcelona, has obtained financing up to €2 million from the Catalan government's Department of Business and Labour for manufacturing and testing capacity expansion. The funding, accessible through Avançsa, is part of the Innova Creixement programme, with €1 million available in the first phase.
This initiative aims to bolster the company's industrial and technological capabilities in both Barcelona and Alguaire through 2027. Pangea specializes in reusable space propulsion technologies, contributing to the New Space model's growth in Europe. The funding is likely to enhance Catalonia's role in the critical aerospace sector and technology sovereignty in Europe.
