Pantheon AI Project Plans €50 Billion Data Center in Croatia
The Pantheon AI project in Topusko, Croatia, is set to establish a €50 billion data center with a capacity of 1 GW. This initiative aims to create a comprehensive digital infrastructure, including energy production and cooling systems, positioning Croatia as a regional energy hub.

The Pantheon AI data center project in Topusko is projected to exceed €50 billion, marking it as one of the largest infrastructure initiatives in Croatia and Eastern Europe. The center will feature a digital infrastructure capacity of 1 GW, establishing it among Europe's largest data hubs.
A significant component of the project includes a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 500 MW, aimed at energy self-sufficiency. Additionally, the initiative plans to construct approximately 280 kilometers of new power lines and a dedicated substation.
The project involves strategic energy routes linking southern and central Croatia, enhancing the local energy grid. This development is expected to generate thousands of jobs and retain skilled professionals in engineering and technology sectors.
Furthermore, it incorporates a closed-loop cooling system to minimize environmental impact. The project's successful implementation could solidify Croatia's role in the regional energy landscape.
