Pantheon Atlas to Invest €50 Billion in AI Data Center in Croatia
Pantheon Atlas LLC is set to invest over €50 billion in a hyperscale AI data center and innovation campus in Croatia, marking a significant milestone in both Croatian and European digital infrastructure development. This investment aims to address the growing demand for AI computing capacity and establish Croatia as a key regional hub for digital services.

Pantheon Atlas LLC will develop Pantheon AI, a hyperscale AI data center, in Topusko, Croatia, with total investments exceeding €50 billion. Construction is set to start in early 2027, with full operations expected by Q1 2029, creating 1,500 permanent jobs and 3,000 during construction.
The facility will provide 1 GW of capacity, incorporating a 500 MW solar plant and 8,000 MWh of battery storage, meeting the highest Tier IV resilience standards. This project responds to Europe's critical data center capacity shortage and aims to integrate up to 5.2 GW of renewable energy into Croatia's grid. The substantial investment signifies an important shift towards enhancing digital infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe, potentially attracting further investments in the region.
