Paradip Port Achieves Record Cargo Output of 156.45 MMT in FY 2025-26
Paradip Port Authority reached a historic cargo throughput of 156.45 MMT in FY 2025-26, marking a 4.01% increase from the prior year. This milestone reinforces its status as the leading bulk port on India's eastern coast, with significant growth across diverse cargo sectors despite challenging market conditions.

In FY 2025-26, Paradip Port Authority recorded a cargo throughput of 156.45 MMT, achieving a 4.01% growth year-on-year. It continues to lead in productivity, with a berth productivity of 35,059 MT per day, nearly double the national average.
Key growth segments included a 105% increase in LPG handling and a 43% rise in steel cargo. The port's strategic hinterland and operational improvements have driven performance despite external market challenges.
Financially, Paradip Port reported a net surplus exceeding Rs. 2000 Cr and an operating ratio of 31%. Future projects include a 25 MMTPA Western Dock and a Green Hydrogen Export Terminal, aiming for modernization and sustainability by 2030.
