Paraguay's ANDE Partners with Morphware for Government Bitcoin Mining Project Using Seized Rigs
Paraguay's national power utility ANDE has signed an MoU with Morphware to initiate the country's first government-led Bitcoin mining project using 1,500 seized mining rigs. The project will utilize surplus hydropower and is aimed at compliant mining operations. ANDE will manage the mining farm while Morphware will offer technical support. The government is considering selling the mined Bitcoin for public spending or holding part of it through financial instruments.
