The Parker Planning and Zoning Commission voted against a preliminary plat for Post Oak Estates proposed by Restore the Grasslands. The proposal involved a high-density neighborhood and required approval for two applications from the developer, which is linked to Dallas developers Phillip and Don Huffines.

On February 12, the Parker Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend denial of two applications from Restore the Grasslands (RTG) for a preliminary plat for Post Oak Estates. This proposal involved a high-density neighborhood with its own wastewater treatment plant, located on 101 acres north of Murphy's Rolling Ridge neighborhood, previously under Parker's extraterritorial jurisdiction. RTG is associated with Dallas developers Phillip and Don Huffines.
