Parliamentary Panel Recommends Resource Mobilization for Antrix and NSIL to Revitalize India's Space Economy
A parliamentary panel has urged India's Department of Space to enhance resource mobilization for Antrix Corporation Limited and New Space India Limited (NSIL) due to significant revenue declines. Antrix's turnover dropped from Rs 654 crore in 2020-21 to Rs 76.77 crore in 2024-25, while NSIL's revenue from launch services fell from Rs 1,16,613.16 lakh in 2022-23 to Rs 44,743.13 lakh in 2024-25. The panel recommends aggressive commercialization and exploring new markets to boost the space economy.
