Peak XV Partners has invested $15 million in C2i Semiconductors, an Indian startup developing plug-and-play power solutions for AI data centers. The total funding for C2i, founded in 2024, is now $19 million.
Global data center energy demand is expected to rise significantly, with a 175% increase predicted by 2030. C2i’s technology aims to reduce energy conversion losses by 10%, which could save approximately 100 kilowatts for every megawatt consumed. The company plans to validate its solutions with data center operators in the U.S. and Taiwan starting in 2026.
