A 224-kilowatt solar energy system will provide discounted energy to residents of Golden Sands Apartments in Victorville, CA. This initiative addresses rising electricity costs and grid pressures, benefiting low-income families through a 12.5% discount on utility rates.

PearlX, in collaboration with Aspen Real Estate Financial LLC and the Housing Authority of San Bernardino, is implementing a 224-kilowatt solar system at Golden Sands Apartments, which consists of 120 units. This system addresses the substantial increase in electricity bills and the projected rise in energy demand, particularly from data centers.
By participating, residents can secure a 12.5% discount on their electricity costs. The project is expected to be operational in 2026 and showcases the Energy Estate model that transforms multifamily housing into energy assets. The partnership aims to provide sustainable energy solutions that support affordability for low-income families amid increasing utility rates.
